Alexsandrinskiy Theatre is also off Nevsky Avenue so we stopped in on the way back to our Hotel and booked tickets for the ballet 'Swan Lake'. This is one of the oldest national Theatres in Russia, opened in 1832. It is also called the Russian State Pushkin Academy Drama Theater.
